A POSTCARD OF AUGUST
Morning breaks slow and hot. The beach is already lined with umbrellas, striped like sun-baked shoulders; tender, salty, stamped by wind and heat. A Pucci scarf catches a breeze, then settles limply. The day arranges itself without effort: gelato at noon, Aperol Spritzes at four. From the hotel terrace, jazz murmurs above the hush of waves and the low clink of glassware. Time nudges forward and is disregarded.
OUR MUSE
Is a woman traveling alone, but never lonely - and with many trunks. She lives in a time of telegrams, not texting. Think Fellini, 1960s, Amalfi Coast. Her mornings are filled with small indulgences: sweet treats by the pool, a cigarette under the shade of a cypress. Afternoons drift between swims in quiet coves and unhurried visits to the shops of Ravello. Evenings begin with vermouth and end with dancing. There is more than one fabulous affair. And always, there is jewelry.

we poured over tray upon tray of gemstones...
and selected those that sparked curiosity: a strand of Mali garnet so extraordinarily hand-hammered they shimmer like sugar dusting the rim of a glass; beryl like a twist of citrus; sapphires so cool and creamy lavender you could devour them with a spoon. The pieces are crafted in signature J Albrecht style : generous gold bezels and intricately handmade chain composed into lasting forms; souenirs of summer's final hours, meant to be worn and cherished long after the hotels have shuttered for the season.
