3 Stone Nova Ring
We are often asked what inspires us. It’s a fair and interesting question, but the atmosphere of our workshop is less about inspiration and more rooted in curiosity. Curiosity keeps us engaged with both materials and method. The Nova ring, for example, began with a fascination for two rare cabochon-cut diamonds and the questions they raised. How were they cut? How do they capture light? How could they be set properly without losing that smooth, uninterrupted surface? Those questions became the foundation for everything that followed.
The central diamond is a natural fancy dark orangey brown, deep and incandescent, shifting between ember and eclipse, holding light in a way that feels cosmic rather than decorative.
Those cabochon diamonds though... Their surfaces are perfectly smooth, without a single facet to interrupt the light. Each one glows from within, an intense radiance with the presence of a planetary form, luminous and otherworldly. They don’t flash or scatter light; they hold it close.
We built the ring low to the hand, substantial yet refined, anchored by our signature bold bezels. Every line considered and each proportion weighed. The result is a deliberate reflection of how we question and consider permanence.
Curiosity keeps us moving forward, even in a landscape crowded with repetition and noise. Everywhere, there are algorithms forcing what jewelry should look like, which stones to use, which styles to chase. We choose to ask questions instead. What happens when light is allowed to soften? When form resists the expected? When jewelry is crafted to be an object of both desire and lineage? The Nova is one answer.
