I acknowledge that J.Albrecht Designs and their affiliates will perform repair and/or customization services on my jewelry. I understand that gold, platinum, silver jewelry, gemstones, and diamonds may have undergone treatments such as heat, fracture filling, irradiation, or dyeing, which are not always detectable. These treatments can react unpredictably to heat, chemicals, or pressure during the repair or customization process. I acknowledge that J.Albrecht Designs and their affiliates cannot guarantee the identification of all treatments and are not liable for any damage, color change, cracking, or breakage that may occur to my jewelry due to undisclosed or unknown treatments.

I further understand that certain repair and customization techniques, including but not limited to soldering, setting, engraving, or cleaning, may result in unintended consequences such as internal fractures, surface damage, loss of luster, or structural weakness. Additionally, pre-existing conditions such as inclusions, fractures, or other natural characteristics may increase the risk of damage, and J.Albrecht Designs and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any deterioration that occurs during the repair process.

I also understand that by submitting jewelry for repair without providing a current appraisal, J Albrecht Designs will estimate the value to the best of its knowledge for internal purposes. This estimate is not a formal appraisal and is not intended to determine fair market value, replacement cost, or insurance coverage. J Albrecht Designs is not liable for any discrepancies between its estimated value and any appraisal provided after the item has been left for repair. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to provide an official appraisal/certificate if an accurate valuation is required before service begins.

By submitting my email below, I acknowledge that I have been informed of these risks and assume full responsibility for any potential changes and or damage to my jewelry. I release J.Albrecht Designs, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability related to the repair or customization of my jewelry.
