Diamond Prisma Necklace

Summer had settled fully into the garden. Lavender spilled over the stone path. The roses were nearing their second flush. Near the back fence, a struggling clematis vine she had nearly removed the year prior now carried the season's best blooms. She stood for a moment, studying the many facets of years of work.

The diamond glinted at at her collarbone as usual. She had worn the necklace so often it had become part of her everyday reflection. The garden had a way of changing her mind about things.
