It was on a recent gemstone excursion that we became instantly taken with this natural Spinel.  Unlike many of our pieces, where we ruminate on concept, sketch a few ideas, and generally wait for inspiration to hit... we knew exactly how we wanted to showcase the allure of this gemstone.  The piece needed to feel like a treasure... like a magical bauble begging to be rolled between ones' fingers and endlessly pondered. And so sparkle and gold were added... then a twisting mechanism... and then a substantial handmade chain to finish things off.  It took a year of prototyping and development... and we're so proud of the finished look.
